Achour & Partners has appointed a new partner, David Mašek.
David Mašek is a long-time specialist in litigation and dispute resolution. He has extensive professional and practical expertise in this area, having acted for top local and international companies in the construction, mechanical engineering, energy and transport sectors especially. David’s experience includes representing major Czech banks, municipalities and state-owned companies and acting for an important Czech mining company in a dispute. For many years, he has also advised on public procurement, public aid and competition law matters, including representing clients before the Office for the Protection of Competition and the European Commission and in administrative tribunal proceedings. In addition, he has helped to provide comprehensive legal advice on major acquisition projects.
David Mašek completed his Master’s degree and subsequent post-graduate study at the Faculty of the Law at Charles University. His postgraduate work included studies at Turku Law School at the University of Turku in Finland, where he focused on international commercial law.
At Achour & Partners, David Mašek will be responsible for leading the Litigation and Arbitration Practice Group. His other duties will include developing and consolidating the team and helping to acquire new clients.
