Associate Andrea Schelleova recently spoke at a conference titled "Monitoring and the protection of data and personal details", whose main themes were laws on workplace monitoring and risks to the security of company data. The event focused on concerns around central data storage, company law compliance and data retention. Andrea presented a paper analysing issues surrounding the monitoring of employees under national legislation and current case law. The conference was hosted by the Institute for International Research GmbH, which was founded in the Czech Republic in 1996. In the short period of its existence, the Institute has become a leader in the further education of senior management in the Czech Republic.
